Nowhere to hide over 'no-poach' deals, EU fines for delivery rivals show

That is the message from a European Commission decision fining Delivery Hero and Glovo 329 million euros for such restrictions — the first time the watchdog has imposed sanctions for distorting the labor market. The broad scope of their no-poach deal and smoking-gun e-mails did the companies no favors.Companies will struggle to justify any form of deal with a rival to refrain from hiring its employees and could face stiff EU antitrust intervention for their efforts.
