Tzell Travel files reply for summary judgment on FlightBlitz's US price-fixing claims

( July 23, 2025, 23:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Tzell Travel filed a reply in support of its motion for summary judgment on FlightBlitz's price-fixing claims over commissions paid between travel agents, telling a US federal judge that FlightBlitz fatally concedes that Tzell owned 70 percent of All Star Travel Holdings — which in turn owned 100 percent of All Star Travel Group — at the time of the alleged conspiracy. The plaintiff's claims of injury when Tzell allegedly conspired with hosting agent ASTG to fix prices on airfare commission are implausible because "a single entity cannot conspire with itself to violate Section 1 of the Sherman Act, or the [California] Cartwright Act," Tzell said in its brief filed to the Central District of California.See attached file....
