Mathews Archery argues US price-fixing claims should be dismissed

( July 10, 2025, 20:49 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Mathews Archery told a US judge today that price-fixing claims against it should be independently dismissed from those against other archery products manufacturers, distributors and retailers. The plaintiffs' complaint offers conclusory assertions that defendants and thousands of co-conspirators agreed through the Archery Trade Association to raise retail prices on thousands of archery products, but fails "to allege any facts that if true would establish that there was an agreement between any Defendants," the motion to dismiss filed to the District of Utah said. Mathews is not connected to any allegedly illegal conduct or conspiracy in the complaint, the defendant said, nor are there any plus factors supporting an inference of a conspiracy.See attached document....
