BMW ends Swiss probe over relative market power

( July 10, 2025, 07:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Carmaker BMW has resolved an investigation by the Swiss competition authority into whether it abused its "relative market power" over a particular garage, after offering the garage a temporary extension of their business relationship. This move allowed BMW to address antitrust concerns, WEKO said today. The probe — opened last year — examined whether BMW had coerced the garage to make significant investments before suddenly terminating their partnership without adequate transitional measures.
