Google to see end to UK antitrust review of cookie plan, CMA says (update*)

The Competition and Markets Authority said it has “reasonable grounds” to find that there are no longer competition concerns, given that Google plans to keep third-party cookies. Google’s battle with the UK’s antitrust authority over one-time plans to remove third-party cookies from its Chrome browser may formally conclude this year, the watchdog said today....
