IT, engineering companies in France fined EUR29.5 million over ‘no poach’ agreements

( June 11, 2025, 13:55 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Four providers of engineering and IT services in France engaged in an anticompetitive agreement not to solicit each other's workers and must pay a total fine of 29.5 million euros (around $34 million), the French competition authority has said. The companies — Alten, Expleo, Bertrandt and Ausy — engaged in a "gentlemen's agreement" not to compete in the engineering and IT labor market. Ausy (now called Randstad Digital) blew the whistle on the conduct and must pay no financial penalty. The regulator also looked into a "non-aggression agreement" between Ausy and Atos, but found insufficient evidence to prove an infringement.The statement follows:...
