End-of-life vehicles cartel decision published by EU watchdog

( June 11, 2025, 07:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Commission today issued a summary decision on fines it imposed recently on more than a dozen carmakers including Stellantis, Renault/Nissan and BMW — as well as ACEA, the European Automobiles Manufacturers’ Association — for their role in a cartel in recycling end-of-life vehicles. Mercedes-Benz escaped a fine as it blew the whistle on the cartel.
