IPPs submit post-trial brief following US damages hearing in CRT case

( June 5, 2025, 00:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Indirect purchaser plaintiffs, or IPPs, in price-fixing litigation regarding cathode ray tubes, or CRTs, submitted a post-trial brief and updated proposed findings of fact and conclusions of law following a hearing over the amount of damages Irico should pay for its participation in the alleged scheme. "The evidence presented at the May 19-21, 2025, hearing established that the cartel successfully raised the price of all types of CRTs above competitive levels and that every expert’s work in the case showed significant overcharges and damages," the IPPs said in their post-trial brief. They also argued that the model IPP expert Janet Netz used "for estimating the amount of the overcharge is reasonable, reliable and consistent with the facts." See court documents. ...
