Delivery Hero and Glovo fined €329 million by EU for food delivery cartel

( June 2, 2025, 11:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Online food delivery companies Delivery Hero and Glovo have been fined €329 million ($375.6 million) by the European Commission for participating in a cartel between 2018 and 2022, the Commission said today. The companies had agreed not to poach each other's employees, exchanged commercially sensitive information, and allocated geographic markets, it said in a statement. Delivery Hero bought a minority stake in Glovo in 2018, which enabled it to access sensitive documents and influence the company's decisions.
