NCAA, plaintiffs seek final settlement approval in US antitrust case over NIL rights

( May 7, 2025, 23:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The National Collegiate Athletics Association and a plaintiff class urged a California federal judge to grant final approval to their settlement, which would open the door for schools to share roughly 50 percent of athletic department revenues with — and provide additional scholarships to — student-athletes, and clear the way for name, image, and likeness transactions for those athletes.
