Koura moves to dismiss amended US antitrust claims over refrigerants

( May 5, 2025, 23:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Koura, or Mexichem Fluor, told a US judge that FluroroFusion Specialty Chemicals and Dynatemp Interational's amended antitrust compliant over defendant Chemours' patented refrigerant transforms "a run-of-the-mill breakdown in negotiations into a sweeping conspiracy." Koura gave the plaintiffs a roadmap to resolve their flawed allegations in its motion seeking dismissal of the original complaint, but they have doubled down and added mere unsupported speculation, Koura said in its motion to dismiss filed to the Eastern District of North Carolina. Koura said the defendants have no established history of dealing, Koura never sold the refrigerant in concern, and FlouroFusion's refusal of Chemours' conditions for dealing is the cause of its purported harm, the defendant said.See attached file....
