Google must be broken up, DOJ says as US judge sets remedy trial date in adtech suit

US District Judge Leonie Brinkema heard from Google and the DOJ on their respective remedy proposals, with the tech giant seeking a limited set of three behavioral remedies while the government proposes a combination of structural as well as behavioral remedies to address Google’s illegal monopoly.
