US judge sets evidentiary hearing for remedies in Google adtech monopoly suit

( April 25, 2025, 19:42 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US District Judge Leonie Brinkema has scheduled an evidentiary hearing on May 2 regarding equitable remedies to be imposed in the US Department of Justice's lawsuit against Google over illegal monopolization of the adtech markets. In an order, Brinkema said after having reviewed the joint proposal regarding the adjudication of equitable remedies, "the Court is concerned about the length of time that the parties are requesting." Parties can argue their preliminary positions on the equitable remedies to be imposed, which will enable the court to determine whether and how much discovery is necessary and appropriate, she said.See attached document...
