Altria no longer faces UCL, monopolization claims from indirect purchasers, resellers

( April 15, 2025, 18:34 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Indirect purchaser plaintiffs and indirect reseller plaintiffs have told Altria that they no longer intend to pursue their monopolization and their California Unfair Competition Law claims against the company, according to court documents. The parties submitted stipulations and proposed orders dismissing these claims for US District Judge William Orrick to sign. The class-action litigation alleged that Juul Labs and Altria illegally agreed to eliminate competition in the market for closed-system electronic cigarettes. See attached files. ...
