Agri Stats withholding data on chats, asserting dubious privilege claims, US DOJ says

( March 27, 2025, 23:34 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Agri Stats discovery productions "appear to have serious deficiencies," a US Department of Justice-led coalition of plaintiffs told a Minnesota federal judge overseeing litigation concerning allegedly anticompetitive information sharing. Agri Stats has not responded to requests for information about the company's preservation, collection and review of Microsoft Teams messages and "continues to assert more than a hundred facially unsupported privilege claims." Agri Stats has produced only 601 Teams files from 12 different custodians over a five-year period, "even though Agri Stats’ witnesses confirmed that they regularly use Teams to conduct business," the plaintiffs said in a memo supporting their motion to compel.See attached files....
