Live Nation offers 'innocent explanation' for missing texts in US DOJ suit

( March 13, 2025, 23:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: "It is hardly surprising that after well over two years of scorched-earth discovery covering virtually every aspect of Defendants’ businesses, and dozens of document custodians, there have been a few issues," Live Nation and Ticketmaster told the New York federal judge overseeing the Justice Department's case against them. The companies also addressed a set of texts with Live Nation executive Bob Roux and a non-party that had not been produced to the DOJ. "There is an innocent explanation for that: most of these text messages are either outside the time period when Mr. Roux was obligated to retain materials relevant to Plaintiffs’ investigation/litigation, or are not responsive to Plaintiffs’ document requests," the letter said.See attached file....
