Honda escapes antitrust scrutiny in India as dealer claims fall short

The Competition Commission of India ruled that the allegations primarily concerned contractual disputes and commercial aspects of the business relationship between the dealer and the manufacturer, which do not invite attention under the provisions of the Act.Allegations filed against Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India for abusing its dominant position were dismissed by India's antitrust watchdog on grounds that the claims fell outside the purview of the 2002 Competition Act....
