Google faces South Korean probe over alleged exposure of sexual-abuse victims' data

The Personal Information Protection Commission said Friday that it requested information from Google on Sept. 7 following local media reports that removal requests submitted to the company were exposed on an external website. The regulator is examining the extent and types of sensitive personal information Google provided to the website operator and how long the information was shared.
