USITC opens comment period for Section 338 tariff questions

( September 8, 2026, 14:13 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US International Trade Commission has opened a public comment period to solicit commentary and recommendations on how the agency should view its role in Section 338 of the Tariff Act of 1930. The USTIC is also opening comments on alleged discriminatory actions from other countries that would fall under 338 and what discrimination means under the statute. Comments must be filed to the USTIC's portal system by Nov. 8.See attached....
