Netflix faces German complaints over AI voice training

The Verband Deutscher Sprecher:innen said it was unhappy about contract clauses for dubbing performers, but Netflix said the complaint "lacked merit." The streaming platform pointed to separate agreements with a German actors union last year that protect the use of voices without consent.
