Uber’s €825m GDPR fine follows cooperation between Dutch, French privacy watchdogs

The case followed a 2020 complaint to the CNIL by the Human Rights League on behalf of more than 170 Uber drivers, which was supplemented in 2021. The CNIL assisted the Dutch data protection authority with inspections and evidence analysis, before reviewing its draft decision under the GDPR’s one-stop-shop procedure.Full statement below in French....
