Former Google engineer Ding acquitted of economic espionage by US judge

District Judge Vince Chhabria acquitted Ding of economic espionage claims brought by the government. "There was no indication at trial that any of Ding's colleagues in China were affiliated with the government. Nor was there indication that he intended to actually provide trade secrets to anyone in the Chinese government. The evidence merely suggested that, by that September-December 2023 period, he developed an intent to make money off the Chinese government," Chhabria said.See attached file....
