Meta denied judgment against claims in California social media addiction case

Kuhl, a California state court judge in Los Angeles, has denied Meta Platforms’ motion for judgment against negligence claims over its platforms’ design features. Kuhl said that the court has already found that plaintiffs have presented expert evidence that tends to show that Meta’s platforms are capable of and in fact do cause the harms alleged.
