Proposed acquisition of Heeson Medical by Supagas reviewed in Australia

In a statement on Wednesday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said that Supagas, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation, is a national producer and supplier of LPG as well as a producer and supplier of some industrial gases. The statement added that Heeson Medical is a Brisbane-based company specializing in the supply of medical gases and related equipment and accessories for domestic use, veterinary clinics, small medical clinics and aged-care centers located within the South East Queensland and northern New South Wales regions.
