CADE to rule on Equatorial-Copasa deal appeal, other matters

( July 30, 2026, 13:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Tribunal of Brazil's competition authority is set to rule on a labor union's appeal related to Equatorial's acquisition, through Gerais Saneamento, of a 30 percent stake in Minas Gerais water utility Copasa. It will also decide a gun-jumping investigation involving the Galo Forte investment fund and Trustee Distribuidora de Títulos e Valores Mobiliários, as well as appeals involving SECIPE, Datasonic, Denso Corporation and Itaú Unibanco. In addition, the agenda includes an administrative inquiry involving vehicle transportation companies and three sealed settlement requests.See Official Journal publication below....
