PostNord Strålfors’ capital injections draw in-depth EU probe
( July 24, 2026, 10:56 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Capital injections into PostNord Strålfors — a subsidiary of the Swedish and Danish state-owned postal operator — have drawn an in-depth investigation from the European Commission. The regulator said it received a complaint alleging that between 2014 and 2019, the loss-making PostNord Strålfors received capital injections worth 118.5 million Danish kroner (almost €16 million), in addition to other benefits, which wouldn’t have been made by a private investor. The commission said that its preliminary assessment found "doubts on whether the capital injections in 2017, 2018 and 2019 are in line with EU state aid rules.”Statement follows....
