CSR's bid for Complete Plaster approved by Australian watchdog

CSR, owned by France's Saint-Gobain, manufactures plasterboard, fiber cement and other building products under the Gyprock and Cemintel brands. Australia-based Complete Plaster distributes plasterboard, fiber cement and related products in the Port Macquarie region of New South Wales. The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission on July 7 said there was no horizontal overlap between the businesses because CSR did not have a direct distribution network in the region.
