In a determination published on Thursday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said the proposed Coles supermarket in New South Wales' Lidcombe would face competition from multiple alternative suppliers in the surrounding area including three existing Woolworths supermarkets, a Woolworths Metro, two ALDI stores and several independent supermarkets.
