Meta shouldn't get quick appeal in US case over voiceprints, plaintiffs say

( July 1, 2026, 20:03 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Plaintiffs opposed Meta Platforms’ request for immediate appeal of an order on summary judgment in a privacy case over voiceprints, saying it cannot satisfy the requirements. “Finding that disputed facts about the nature of the Digital Voice Data collected, processed, and stored by Meta and Meta’s identification capabilities precluded summary judgment, the Court left those factual questions for the jury.
