The report, released on Tuesday, said emerging economies are becoming increasingly dependent on China in global supply chains, underscoring the need for like-minded countries to strengthen cooperation and build a more resilient international economic order. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry outlined a trade strategy focused on closer cooperation with emerging economies as trusted economic partners while strengthening energy security through closer ties between Asia and the Middle East.
