Elkjøp’s Eplehuset deal may be blocked over competition concerns, watchdog says

The watchdog said it was concerned that reduced competition may lead to higher prices, less choice and poorer service for customers, and so it had told the companies it was considering intervening against the acquisition. The companies have 15 working days to submit their comments on the watchdog's assessment, after which the regulator would have 15 working days to make a final decision in the case, it said.Press release follows....
