CADE says Bus Serviços breached settlement over exclusive dealing

( June 23, 2026, 12:24 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Brazil’s antitrust authority has found Bus Serviços de Agendamento in breach of a settlement agreement designed to prevent anti-competitive practices in the online bus ticketing market, according to a decision published on the country's official journal. The regulator concluded that the company violated a clause prohibiting exclusivity arrangements by inducing a bus operator to concentrate sales on its ClickBus platform and migrate away from rival services, based on evidence including messages, audio recordings and commercial proposals. The case will now return to the authority's investigative unit to calculate potential daily fines, with a possibility of a new administrative proceeding.See Official Journal publication below:...
