LG Chem takes EU dumping duty on Korean ABS resin to EU court

( June 22, 2026, 12:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex summary: LG Chem and its related trader LG Chem Europe are challenging EU dumping tariffs levied on imports of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resins, or ABS, from South Korea. In February, the EU trade regulator imposed a duty of 7.5 percent on the company's imports of the high-performance plastic at EU borders. In its appeal from May, issued Monday, LG Chem says that the green premium adjustment to the export price was unnecessary and that the commission failed to state the reasons why the construction of the normal value wasn't adequate to ensure a fair comparison.The summary of the appeal is attached.
