China customs administration issues drone-export declaration requirements

( June 10, 2026, 03:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China’s General Administration of Customs, in an announcement published Tuesday, set standardized declaration requirements for exports of drones and related items, including controlled dual-use goods and products with characteristics similar to controlled items. Exporters will be required to disclose proactively whether goods are subject to export controls and provide additional technical information. The measures also extend detailed declaration requirements to cross-border e-commerce shipments, including a ban on simplified customs declarations for covered products.
