( June 9, 2026, 05:28 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Indonesia’s Anti-Dumping Committee, or KADI, has opened an interim review of existing antidumping duties on tinplate imports from China. In a statement issued Tuesday, KADI Chair Frida Adiati said the committee found evidence that imports of flat-rolled iron or non-alloy steel coated with tin had continued to increase, while injury to the domestic industry persisted. Imports of Chinese tinplate rose 43 percent in 2025 to 59,378 tons, according to the committee. The review was initiated following a request from domestic producer PT Latinusa and will be conducted over the next 12 months. Antidumping duties on Chinese tinplate have been in place since 2024.Statement follows (in Indonesian)...
