Claro, Serasa probed over alleged customer data-sharing violations

Claro will face an administrative sanctioning investigation, while the Serasa will undergo a supervisory probe. According to a press release, potential violations attributed to Claro include excessive data sharing, lack of transparency with customers, and difficulties in accessing the professional responsible for ensuring compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) within the firm.
