Legrand dawn raids ruling may add heft to electrical-goods cartel appeal

They are all fighting an antitrust fine partly imposed on the basis of evidence gathered in a dawn raid conducted in 2018, under a law that the court faulted in part. All eyes will now be on the Paris Court of Appeal, to see how instrumental the ruling might be in the cartel appeal proceedings.Electrical equipment suppliers Schneider Electric, Legrand, Rexel and Sonepar could find support for their appeal against a French antitrust fine in a recent ruling related to the case by the country's highest constitutional court....
