Dolby wins UPC injunction, Beko fails test as willing licensee for audio SEP

The court ruled Beko was not a willing licensee, ending the examination before assessing whether Dolby’s license terms were fair.Dolby has secured a Europe-wide injunction against Turkish electronics brand Beko and its parent company Arçelik at the Unified Patent Court, after judges in Düsseldorf found the companies had infringed an audio-decoding patent and failed to properly engage in licensing negotiations....
