US Chamber claims 'no emergency' justifies FTC's appellate stay request in HSR form case

( February 18, 2026, 21:12 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Chamber of Commerce and other business associations said a stay pending appeal is unwarranted in its dispute with the Federal Trade Commission over the agency's premerger notification form after US District Judge Jeremy Kernodle ruled in the Chamber's favor. According to the Chamber, "there simply is no emergency here beyond the FTC’s bare desire to receive more information at regulated parties’ (and the larger economy’s) expense."See attached document....
