World Aquatics says it welcomes US jury decision in swimming league antitrust case

( January 23, 2026, 22:30 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: World Aquatics said it welcomes the jury's decision in its antitrust dispute with the International Swimming League. The jury found that the damages that ISL proved it suffered as a result of World Aquatics’ violation of the antitrust laws was $1. This amount will be trebled. "This decision confirms that this matter involved a short-lived dispute between the parties, which did not damage the ISL (ISL had sought $41 million in damages before mandatory trebling)," World Aquatics said in a statement.
