Botex competition ruling to be reviewed, Danish watchdog says

( December 22, 2025, 14:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A ruling that Danish home-textiles chain Botex did not breach competition law will be reviewed before assessing the next steps to take, the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority said. In a statement on Monday, it said it disagreed with the country's Competition Appeals Board that there was insufficient basis to establish that Botex violated the Competition Act when it granted its members exclusive marketing areas. The watchdog said its assessment had been that this was an agreement between companies that aimed to limit competition in the Danish retail market for home textiles. Statement follows (in Danish). ...
