US Supreme Court passes on challenge to invalidation of expired patents

The nonpracticing entity unsuccessfully argued the Patent Trial and Appeal Board lacks the authority to weigh in on the validity of already-expired claims.Cancellation by the US Patent and Trademark Office's Patent Trial and Appeal Board of various claims of two imaging patents which expired in 2019 and 2020 will not be disturbed, the US Supreme Court has decided....
