Reciprocity to determine non-EU access to bloc’s industrial support, official says

The law, unveiled on March 4, introduces a “Made in Europe” preference in public procurement while allowing “trusted partners” to participate, including countries with trade deals and procurement partners from the World Trade Organization.The ability of non-EU countries to secure preferential access to the bloc’s public procurement contracts under the upcoming Industrial Accelerator Act will depend on reciprocal market openness, a senior European Commission official said....
