Fulton Hogan-Avionics deal to be reviewed by Australian watchdog

( April 29, 2026, 02:41 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Fulton Hogan Industries’ proposal to acquire 100 percent of the shares in Avionics Holdings, representing the Australian operations of the Avionics Group business, is undergoing regulatory review in Australia. In a statement on Tuesday, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said Fulton Hogan is a civil construction and infrastructure provider. The regulator said it usually acts as head contractor, overseeing projects and subcontracting specialized work such as aeronautical ground lighting, and is sometimes engaged just for construction. Aeronautical ground lighting systems, which guide aircraft, are supplied and maintained by providers such as Avionics, either directly for airports or via head contractors.
