Realtek, in pursuit of antisuit injunction, may have gotten its way in Germany

By Melissa Ritti ( December 20, 2024, 19:35 GMT | Insight) -- One week before a scheduled telephonic hearing on Realtek’s US-filed request to halt a German infringement proceeding against Realtek customer Tesla, the German case by a Broadcom affiliate has been withdrawn, MLex has learned. The development could lessen the sense of urgency in the parties’ filings but may not extinguish their entire dispute, which Realtek successfully fought to have remanded to the Delaware Court of Chancery earlier this month. A US federal judge unsealed that ruling yesterday.A spokesperson for the Munich Regional Court in Germany confirms to MLex that a lawsuit by Avago Technologies International Sales against Realtek Inc. customer Tesla was withdrawn on Tuesday....
