US District Court: District of New Jersey - In re Effexor XR antitrust litigation [order denying FTC motion to file amicus]

Pisano denied a request by the Federal Trade Commission to submit an amicus brief addressing whether a "no authorized-generic" commitment represents a payment that violates antitrust laws. Pisano said that the FTC's brief did little more than duplicate arguments raised by the parties and its interests were adequately represented by the plaintiffs in the case.See document below....
