Shanghai, neighboring provinces will mutually recognize road-testing results of smart vehicles

The country's economic planner yesterday announced policies and measures to promote the “Hongqiao international opening-up hub” to a higher level, to include measures to boost road testing of smart and connected vehicles among different areas in the Yangtze River Delta.Smart-connected vehicle test licenses and test results will be mutually recognized by key districts in Shanghai and parts of neighboring Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, while road testing across different Chinese provinces and cities in the area will be opened up, under new initiatives announced this week....
