​Faster trade-deal ratification gets EU member states’ support, Šefčovič says

Maroš Šefčovič, who wants to shorten this process to one year after signing it to ensure that businesses can benefit from the agreement, said he would soon present more details on this.There is broad support from all 27 EU member states to speed up the ratification process of trade deals the bloc concludes with other countries, the EU’s Trade Commissioner said on Friday after finishing a meeting with trade ministers in Cyprus....
