China files WTO lawsuit over EU's electric vehicle definitive duties

The Chinese government says the EU’s decision “violates WTO rules, abuses trade remedy measures, and practices trade protectionism in the name of countervailing duties.” This is China’s second lawsuit concerning the anti-subsidies duties, following the one filed on Aug. 9 after the European Commission disclosed the provisional tariff rates....
