UK growth plan requires regulatory upheaval, finance minister says in speech

Saying that "businesses are held back by a complex and unpredictable regulatory system," she touted Marcus Bokkerink's replacement last week as one answer, along with "new growth-focused remits to our financial services regulators." She outlined a three-pronged strategy for growth: "stability in our politics, our public finances and our economy … reform which makes it easier for businesses to trade, to raise finance and to build … and investment, the lifeblood of economic growth."Speech follows....
